Wimberly guitars are not pulled from inventory. The first step is adding your name so Preston can follow up when a build slot opens.
A build begins with a 50 percent deposit, then moves through wood, oil, leather, blued steel, blackened nickel, raw brass, assembly, and final setup. Once your slot opens, build time is 12 to 16 weeks from deposit to delivery.

Both models use solid walnut, hand-worked leather, darkened metal, and a Gunstreet 50s harness. The decision is what the top carries and how much of the signal path you want under your hand.

Preston follows up when a build slot is close, then confirms the model, material direction, and schedule.
A 50 percent deposit holds the slot and starts the build.
Wood, oil, leather, metalwork, assembly, fretwork, setup, and playing time. Plan on 12 to 16 weeks once the slot opens.
The remaining balance is due when the guitar is finished, photographed, and ready to ship or hand off.
The guitar leaves the shop set up, documented, and signed with the W.
